Sumac is a ground powder from the cashew family used as a seasoning.

Soujouk is minced lamb meat mixed with very special kind of spices. Very tasty and specified as hot appetizers.

Tabouleh is a salad of burgol, tomato, mint and parsley.

Tahina is an oily paste made from ground sesame seeds used in hommos and moutabel.

Taratour is a thick mayonnaise of pureed pine nuts, garlic and lemon used as a sauce or dip.

Umm Ali is a pastry pudding with raisins and coconut steeped in milk.

Warak Emab is stuffed vine leaves with rice, tomatoes, parsley and olive oil boiled up to perfection.

Yansoon is hot spiced tea used for medicinal purposes.
